I'm a huge Patriots fan.

But I agree that this overtime rule is fucking shit. In short, if the Patriots are making a 3 pts kick on that possession instead of a touchdown, the Falcons get the ball back for an additional possession. If on that additional possession the Falcons make a 3 pts as well, overtime continues. But since the Patriots made a touchdown on their first possession, bam, game over.

It is retarded.

Did anyone ask about d personnel after the game ? My guess is that they have a name for their hail mary package, and Gronkowski is part of that, In itself it's not a bad idea for under 60 yards. Run to the ball, try and out high point the receiver. Probably out dated as he doesn't move like he used to. They probably have a name for their other prevent formation. Someone on the sideline called out the wrong package.
