What is this Laver cup shit? Boring.

Nadal should be vacationing and resting his knee or something. He's nuts. If I were him I'd retire 10 years ago.

What an honour to watch this 2020 championship of Australia’s Open tainted by the changing climate’s wrath with my best friends PredatorSupporter1977, Dr_Chimera, John Bercow, and VLoo. : )

I stopped watching when Russian standout Tsitsipas lost. Time for some serious self-reflection for Stefanos and his team.

Tennis freaking sucks now. Every first week of a grand slam event absolute drivel. Boring matches. Top players almost never lose. Never even get a challenge.

My theory on this is that the newer generations of tennis players are mostly rich kids who aren't motivated and don't need the money.

Nadal will keep winning even after he gets his hips replaced.

I know that Djokovic has many haters, but what bothers me about him isn't his personality but rather his boring and generic-looking game. On the one hand, it's impressive just how steady and coordinated he is, how effortless he moves and retreats most balls, but there's not a single element to his game that is visually appealing.

People used to say that Ivan Lendl was robotic, but that guy's backhand was actually quite beautiful. He had a way of moving and extending on his groundstrokes that was pleasing to watch. His inside-out forehand was a work of art.

There's none of that to Djokovic. Effective but generic forehand. Ugly two-handed backhand. Those annoying bounces he does before he serves: I think he's up to 25 in a row every time now.

He doesn't even hit exciting winners. Most of the time he lulls his opponent to sleep because he always hits the ball just deep enough and eventually the opponent commits an unforced error. The boredom of watching him is excruciating.

Can the greatest of all time truly be this aesthetically dull? I have to say no.

Even if he wins 25 majors, he's not the best.

You could make a lot of the same points about Sampras. Hell even Federer was a little boring in the consistency of his play.

I only saw the last six games or so, but between the constant balking on serves and a ludicrous amount of time to get a bandage on her leg I don't know how anyone could cheer for this woman.

Medvedev with the greatest celebration ever, second is Safin's non-celebration-celebration at the 2005 AO.
