It's too bad all the people that could really run the Habs are busy doing talk radio, writing blogs or posting on message boards.

Now, Lajoie is an imbecile, a cretin and a plagiarist, who to use author Dany Laferrière's deliciously withering expression, "lives beyond his intellectual means."

When does Fox get the Super Bowl back? It blows me away that their presentations from twenty years ago are still more immersive than the recent ones from CBS and NBC.

EDIT: CBS next year, then Fox, then NBC. :why:

Man, I woke up today with that throw playing back in my head.

Goddamnit. Is there anybody defending that call? Even people who didn't know football were questioning why they didn't give it to Lynch after they relied on him for almost the entire game.

I feel like this is Darren Bevell's fault, yet he had the gall to say Lockette could've gone harder.

Carroll went on and took the blame (even if I agree with you, Bevell should be the one taking it).

Carroll went on to say that they didn't want to run the ball on that specific play because they saw a man to man/goal line defense and thought it was to their advantage to try and pass the ball. They basically wanted to waste that play, going with a "if it goes in yay, if not, we run the next two" state of mind. So, plenty of reasons why they chose that play, definitely none of 'em good enough when you have *something* called Beast Mode in the backfield.

Butler made a terrific read on that play.

I'm still giddy today.

They should have looped it into the end zone. There was a guy a yard or two in the clear behind the defense in the endzone.

Bevell should have been fired when he suggested/called the play. Nevermind after running it and it not working

Bevell: we got this slant pass play we are going to run

Carroll: you are fired, get off the field

Technically, when Wilson began his passing move, Lockette was unchecked. Butler made a fucking great read on that play and came on Lockette from his blind spot.

Definitely not sure any pass play would've been successful. Between Beast Mode and Wilson himself, the 'Hawks had plenty of running option that'd all likely ended up as TD.

I'm very happy they went with that play though. I mean, after all the goddamn fucking miraculous catches ('07, '11, '15), Pats fans needed to catch a damn break.

I agree but he didn't seem to feel that way. I mentioned how when Don Cherry took the too many men penalty, Bowman didn't replace Lafleur on the power play. He didn't seem to appreciate that. People ehh, hard to figure out.

Nick Foles to STL for Sam Bradford and a 2nd.

Why would anyone ever trade for Sam Bradford? He makes one billion dollars and he's played 49 games in five years and he's also dogshit. And remember one year ago when Foles was getting MVP hype?

Gore just signed in Indianapolis. Harvin released. Still no finality on the Rams/Eagles trade.

Vereen, Ridley, Browner, Connolly, Wilfork and Revis all free agents. The Pats will probably re-sign Connolly and maybe Ridley. I'm still hopeful they can re-sign Revis, even with the Jets making a huge push.
