Pan Am Games

Post #1 by MP » Tue Jul 14, 2015 4:55 pm

How is it that Canada is leading the medal totals? Did everyone else send their B teams? Oh swimming hasn't started yet. I guess we front loaded the events we are good at?

Only the Americans sent their B team - there’s a lot of shit hole countries in the Americas.

Pretty much everyone sent b teams unless the event is a direct qualifier for the Olympics. Like for track and field, for example, everyone's a team is saving themselves for the world championship event in China next month. Canada is the only country going all out.

Sorry if I haven't been posting on our fair site lately, fellas. I've just been really busy not giving a shit about the 2015 Pan Am Games.

Good to see Andre de Grasse win gold in the 100m, Pan Am Games or not.

It’ll be interesting to see if he adds a fake Jamaican accent over the years.

A lot of Canadians are going to be shocked when our Pam Am success doesn't carryover to the Rio Olympics and it is all the city of Toronto and CBC's fault for overselling this third-rate event.
