Did you fellas hear the "Pied Piper Theme" from The Sweet Hereafter when Canadian screen and stage icon Bruce Greenwood burst into his scenes?

Solid episode last night. Nice to see the agency itself, and it's future, play a central role in the episode. You definitely get the sense they're setting the table for the characters to go off into the sunset. Still not sure what they're going to do with Don, but they're setting the table for everyone else.

A song plays a role in almost every episode. So I do hope it is some tripe like Phantom Planet to cheapen it all.

The Peggy/Roger stuff was good, if only because they never really did much together in the series. Also, Roger telling off Harry Crane was terrific.

Remember when you're a kid and the toughest young'un is the first one willing to punch in the face

If you're willing, you have the cards. So the boss, (McCann ?) won't kow tow to a pushy broad, he holds the cards so he wins

If she sends a goon, and taking a besting is foreign to him, then she holds the cards. She doesn't have to have the biggest dick, she can hire it

I'd like to see them go there

I'm wondering if he wanders off because he just can't do full time anything anymore. Maybe he figures he can leave his daughter in charge, he isn't real anyways. I have a hard time seeing him being every day Dad.

Just like all the other masterworks of our time (The Wire, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Sopranos, Trailer Park Boys) it doesn't matter how it ends.
