2015 Death Pool

Post #1 by Transplanted Caper » Sun Nov 30, 2014 10:05 am

2015 Death Pool: Signup

Welcome to the 2015 Death Pool. Same rules as previous years apply.

*By December 31st at midnight send me a list of 25-30 celebrities via PM you think will kick the bucket in 2015.
*For each celebrity who dies, you get points. The points are calculated by subtracting your celebrity's age from 100.
*No picking anyone on death row or who may be set to get the death penalty.
*When I get all the lists I'll determine a draft order and do a snake draft. A celebrity can only appear on 3 separate lists, so rank your celebrities in order of how much you want them on your final list
*Special HF Broads analytics known as BIGDS will determine how you fare at picking total number of deaths and the difficulty of such picks.
*If you die yourself, you win! Congrats!

*2014 - Sturminator
*2013 - Sturminator
*2012 - Transplanted Caper
*2011 Winner - Big#D
*2010 Winner - RTWAP/Rick Middleton tie
*2009 Winner - Transplanted Caper

Only 4 lists in, including my own, so far. I am willing to do an extension of one week into 2015, but anyone who has their lists in by midnight on the 31st will have their lists counted first and be given priority in the draft.

Lists are done. Late lists will have to go through a separate draft and will be limited based on the "max 3" rule on already submitted lists.

Hmmm...I wonder who will get Scott's 51 points this year?

Won't be me; I wisely removed him from my list for 2015.

Son of a bitch. I just noticed that Debbie Purdy (my 11th round pick) bought it on the 23rd of December at the age of 51. Goodbye 49 points. TC, could you add whomever I put next on the list to the team? I guess that would be Clive James, then. Thanks.
