Better Call Saul

Post #1 by NyQuil » Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:39 pm

I'm enjoying it.

There was a great montage in Episode 2 where he's hustling at the court.

I'll catch up on Episode 3 tonight.

Plus, Gilligan.

Genius.

Haven't watched Breaking Bad, but caught the first few episodes of this. Decent enough. Not can't miss, but thankfully for PVRs, one doesn't have to.

I didn't think less could happen or be explored in an hour of television than on Breaking Bad.

But I hope Bob succeeds. : )

Every time Jonathan Banks is in a scene there should be an extended applause from the studio audience.

Yeah, I guess that's why he becomes Saul Goodman, to distance himself from the McGill name, so that no one knows he's related. I'm assuming he becomes Saul Goodman at the end of the finale next week.

Almost as good as Dancing with the Stars. Great to have on the TV to keep the cats company when you're not home.

The more I think about it, the more I like the finale.

A- season, would be A+ if it had Breaking Bad's cliffhangers and explosive storytelling. Actually, maybe not.

Just finished the whole season. Was entertained for most of it, looking forward to the second season. Some story lines are well set up, but this season was more about character exploration I believe.

I liked the emphasis on the legal aspect which differentiated it a bit from Breaking Bad.

I don't want them to venture too much into the breaking bad stuff, only if it comes natural.
