He'll flop only if he wants to flop.
Society is actually a bunch of flawed primates guided by selfishness, fear, and superstitious bullshit.

If James Corden can stay on the air, anyone can stay on the air.

Colbert the man has always been insufferable, but the first few episodes are tough anyway. I like his methods, so I'll keep coming back for a bit. The cursed amulet bit was priceless.

Last night was terrible. At least I'll always have the cursed amulet.

It's not Stephen's fault. it's the zeitgeist.

Giving it another shot right now and they have some shitty NFL cameos. I hate this country.

Tonight's show was a major improvement. The Bern interview was good.

Interesting contrast in back to back nights. Colbert poked at Cruz a bit on Reagan - and how he'd never get the GOP nomination today, gay marriage and the Constitution. Now, it was friendly - at one point he even told the audience not to boo Cruz, but it was a lot more serious than anything else you'd see on the late night variety shows. Tonight he had Trump on and basically reverted to a lighter version of his Colbert Report shtick. I suppose at this point there's no real reason to try and challenge Trump. He's a character, not an actual person, still, it was interesting to watch both interviews back to back and see the difference.

I like Jimmy for his schtick(anything remotely serious or anything with politicians besides Chris Christie is just insufferable and I want to choke him to death), Conan for his don't give a fuck anymore. Still trying to put together what I like about Colbert.
