Wild Sony conference for any of you gaming fans.

The Last Guardian finally shows up, FF7 remake announced, Shenmue 3 kickstarter announced and it isn't over yet.

None of that touches doom or fallout. The last time I bought a computer it was to play a new version of doom. Looks like the next time might be too.

November this year is staaaaaaacked. Might finally upgrade my PC, was thinking about it for MGS V anyway but the Battlefront gameplay was fantastic.

Also got a good laugh out of this:

The new Tomb Raider (X-Box One limited platform thingy) set to be released at the same time as Fallout 4

S.U.S.F.

On another note, I'm looking up forward to play those games around the end of 2016, when they'll all be on sale on Steam.

Edit: the Fallout 4 and the FFVII remake are making me all giddy, teehee!

The last Tomb Raider game was actually pretty good. I'd play another, though not if it's only on xbox.

It was excellent.

I think that they now have something called "limited exclusivity", which limits the exclusivity to a game on a given platform for a limited amount of time. Yes, another of those gaming world shenanigans. Pretty sure it'll be eventually available on PC and maybe even PS4.

But having a game coming out with a limited exclusivity on the exact same date as Fallout 4 is pretty much suicide IMO. I have no clue how they'll be priced, but there will definitely be a choice to make. I noticed new games on Steam at 80$ CAD (I laughed quite a bit when I saw Ubisoft was being the main culprit, y'know, with their very bad habit of launching broken games and all - and I say that as a big Assassin's Creed fan).

Add to this mix that Fallout games can usually get about 100 hours of playing out of you, well, yeah. I think by the time we remember Tomb Raider is out, the exclusivity will have expired.

Papa Nazzy isn't going to have the time nor money for video games or upgrading computers... Pull it together man!

I really need to stop preordering games like a fool but Green Man Gaming had their 25% off promo apply to the Fallout 4 preorder so I couldn't help myself.

The promo is still on for anyone who wants to join me in my foolishness.
