Did you hear the noise before furnace season?

Yeah its either a buried electronic device like a motor/relay in the old dryer vent or its the first most likely pain in the ass to "fix". Expansion and contraction of the main forced air feed run. To "fix" that you have to insulate the cavity...and because its a basement...probably make the bulk heads larger.

And when done...you'll probably still hear it.

Get a white noise machine.

"But they are legal and sell them at all the supply stores"

Its also legal for the craig to rewire his whole house. And pull his own permits and not legal for me to connect a ceiling fan. Laws are what they are.

The foam thing in the store says "better than wax!" In huge letters on the box. It's also like 4 dollars more, so it must be better.

He pulled the permits. Also got the inspection done over the phone somehow.

I still have the inspection report or whatever around somewhere.

No wait, I don't. I left it in the old house.

And even worse is engineered before mp walks in here with a heart on. Cost benefit analysis is done and either your recommendations are met...or we just get another enginerd.
