LOL, well based on that I may cut 'er loose when the lease is up.

The 2014s are a bit different so I guess we'll see whether anything improves.

I have that in my Mitsubishi 4x4.

Not sure if 'fine', but the new Impala's are gorgeous and drive incredible. I'm in Florida and I got one as a rental. Such a tease.

New purchase yesterday. Still not sure exactly why, but the original paint and well undercoated body had me at hello.

She runs. I drove it tonight, I have a ten day permit to get a mechanical fitness, but I'm driving it with no plates, just the paper stick on. I know very little about vehicles, but I know a piece of art when I see it. Body was good, under coated well, and 77,000 miles. 1976. Only one spot of bondo in the back corner that the magnet found.

For $2500 I couldn't walk away. 350, 2 barrel. I don't know totally what that means but I'll pretend to. Someone over the 40 years put a dual exhaust on it. It sounds surprisingly good. Natural, if I may.

In for the safety today. Doesn't seem like it needs much, there's certainly some steel on steel rubbing when it drives, passenger rear wheel it sounds like. Hope it's a cheap one, but I've learned with vehicles you never know. Might have to take out a fifth mortgage.

I drove it quite a bit this weekend with my temp licence plate and no brake lights. Surprised how well it runs. The front end is super tight, and you can steer it with one finger. Didn't even burn that much fuel. I figured it would be one of those V8's that could pass everything but a gas station.

I don't think so, he's already caressing Rico's small intestine with it.

So I'm about to splurge on a people mover, but am turned off by the trade in value of my other cars. Is it worth the effort to look for a private sale or just take half the going rate from the dealer?

No, I think we'll buy new, I'm just a bit surprised that the trade in value of our other car is less than half the going rate...

how old and how many km.

our 4 year old honda odessey has a trade in value of 17-20 vs twice that for new.

the only other option is to sell it yourself, making a job for you, plus losing out on the whole hst thing.
