Some places just give you an allowance and don't care where you use it. That's what I figure Preds has.

Predo works for an airline, is an international arms dealer or is a Rothschild heir. Quite possibly all of these.

I think he's in sales at a place that still has travel allowances.

I'm in sales with a travel budget but it can't be used for pleasure. His travel is too random to my eye..just my guess

I thought he flew everywhere on points he earned from actual work by the way he'd pick one place or another.

Some form of corporate work for an airline is my bet. Still doesn't exclude him from being a Rothschild, though.

I don't recall hong kongers being particularly cold. Liked the city, though. Kowloon is very cool and the skyline one of the best. My wife really loved it (we were coming from the chinese interior, though, and she's a bit of a neat freak).

Never been to Vietnam, but heard Hanoiers (?) weren't particluarly friendly either. Hardworking, serious types. Just talk to us Predo!

Not sure if it's the commie influence but the closest I can get to reminding me to Vietnam is Russia. Traffic laws don't exist what-so-ever. Organized chaos. Think I made it about 5 minutes today before I started to sweat. Might be a new record.

Had Vietnam pegged more for an older age (like 12-13). Heard the trekking is pretty good. Knowing me, I'd probably try to fit angkor wat in and that seems remote/ complicated to get to with a kid.

So many places, so little time.

Yeah if you can stand the insufferable heat and humidity (locals said this is actually enjoyable weather for them compared to it being in the 40s in June/July, explains their lack of AC in the buildings) along with the constant offer of taxis and trinkets from people on the sidewalk it's nice. Ridiculously cheap. $21 for hotel in the old quarter with breakfast included. $2 uber rights across town. $9 uber rides to the airport, which is 40 minutes away. My lunch today was 2 bahn mi's and 2 freshly squeezed juices for $4 (100,000 dong).

The Ho Chi Minh mausoleum building is pretty cool. Looks exactly like Lenin's tomb in MOCKBA. Architecture is pretty interesting with noticeable french and soviet influence
