Any one of the league champions winning would be ideal.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mantha and Reinhart play.

I just saw a pic of the commemorative jersey. Meh. They're sort of a cross between Shawinigan's and Brandon's. With a little creativity, they could have done so much better.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little envious.

Not envious enough to pay the outrageous ticket prices, but suitably jealous nonetheless.

A friend of mine tried to start the rumour that Maatta might play - there was never a chance. Rosters were set as of February 1st or something, and Maatta wasn't on it. Not to mention, there's no way in hell the Pens would allow it.

20th of February you had to submit your rosters. I'm not sure why the Knights didn't put him on just in case. The Pens might have allowed it as it's the Memorial Cup. That would have helped them had he been able to play.

The Pens aren't going to risk injury in a meaningless (to them and likely to Maatta) tournament. They couldn't give a damn about the Memorial Cup.

I can't remember the last time someone got seriously hurt at the Memorial Cup.

Anyway, I read today that Zach Bell is somehow magically cleared to play?

Joey Hishon, Mississauga 2011. Finally played again in 2013.

Yep, not sure how the kid healed a broken bone so quickly, but apparently he has. I'm glad - you know how I feel about the Knights, but I hate to see a kid finish his OHL career early due to injury.

I guess there's no doubt why Bibeau was named the Q MVP after tonight.

London looked like a team that hasn't played in a month. Hope they keep it that way.

Also, Mantha is pretty freakin' good.

He took a really stupid penalty in the 3rd tonight.

Just read that Domi was given 1st star honours tonight. That's pitifully hilarious.

He wasn't. He was third, they went Sautner and Kulda as two and one respectively.

And yeah, I meant that penalty in the third. I'm watching that going, really? I blasted him on Twitter. I wanted to ask Dale about that in the post game but I couldn't get there.

There are a couple of Knights fans I pity - they've spent a ton of money to watch their team skate around like they don't give a shit.

Has there ever been a team that got eliminated from the playoffs that early but won the cup as host? That's a huge task, though I'd rather anyone but London win....
