Darnell Nurse was just named player of the game for Canada. Good player but WTF?

Ô Canada!
Terre de nos aïeux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux!
Car ton bras sait porter l'épée,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits.

I came away from this tournament super impressed with Sam Reinhart. Obviously I knew he was a good player but never seen much of him before. Tim Murray has got a great centrepiece to build around there. Calm in all situations, great vision, quietly effective all over the ice.

More understated playing style than his linemates Duclair and Domi, but you can see why he went so high.

EDIT: I'd have given him best forward in the tournament, no question.

But Russia would have won had Putin assassinated Canada's entire team.
