I'd have bufflin in that spot probably. Or Tarasenko. LTIR isn't that rare.

3. Increasing the $5M + $5M bonus. [Same/Increase to $8M+$8M/adust annually by ratio of where the cap started]

4. Review number of IR spots. [3/4/5]

5. Ruling for Player suspended/suspended by team. Passed in favor of cap relief. Draft rule for rule book. [Will do over summer]

6. Copy all existing fantrax rules to rule book, regarding FA and WW order. [Will do over summer]

7. Roster settings for minors (green M's), automatic or not? [Yes/Yes with grace period of 7 days/No]

8. Similarly, IR settings and penalties.? [Yes/Yes with grace period of 7 days/No]

Please vote on these items. I'd like these settled before the draft lotto.

1. Yes, why would he get a pass?
2. Suggest we call it the Dong rule, it will be his first contribution to the league. One you have your draft year and get passed up you are free game.
3. Don't understand what ratio means, need example.
4. 3

The cap bonus being tied to a percentage of how much the cap has grown.

Or do we bump it to say $8m and leave it there of a while,

Or do nothing.

No. 2 came about at the draft. Dong selected Brett Leason an overager who was drafted that year. Being an overage Pf77 already picked him up via FA. So the question is to clear up the draft eligibility for overagers.

1 yes, but we should relax the minimums going forward. They serve basically zero purpose now that we seed the draft on points per game.

2 only drafted players become UFA

3 can we just get rid of the bonus? I don't care, The title is always decided by the deadline anyway.

4 5.
7 with grace
8 with grace
9 can I say keep during the regular season but lo lose during the offseason? Like it would be weird to lose a guy then immediately put in a FA claim on him, but if it happens in the summer it feels like he should be in the draft. I guess call me a keep.

b]AGENDA ITEMS FOR 2020:[/b]
1. Lifer's 1st is forfeited (for not meeting min GP's the previous year). [y/n]

No

2. Brett Leason rule: review regarding overages. [Anyone drafted becomes FA/once you are passed once you can be claimed/passed twice]

This seems complicated and I don’t care. Curious how someone knew to pick him up?

3. Increasing the $5M + $5M bonus. [Same/Increase to $8M+$8M/adust annually by ratio of where the cap started]

I wouldn’t be opposed to just runnning full cap all year, especially as next year is impossible to understand right now.

4. Review number of IR spots. [3/4/5]

Keep as is. If we expand I’ll just take fliers on good but injured people (hi Erik Karlsson.)

5. Ruling for Player suspended/suspended by team. Passed in favor of cap relief. Draft rule for rule book. [Will do over summer]

Whatever.

6. Copy all existing fantrax rules to rule book, regarding FA and WW order. [Will do over summer]

That’s nice of you.

7. Roster settings for minors (green M's), automatic or not? [Yes/Yes with grace period of 7 days/No]

Whatever is decided. I do think people should be forced to lose players from time to time.

8. Similarly, IR settings and penalties.? [Yes/Yes with grace period of 7 days/No]

Abstain

9. Byfuglien Rule: What happens in a case of mutual contract termination? [Lose player to UFA/Keep Player]

Abstain.

Please vote on these items. I'd like these settled before the draft lotto.[/quote]

2. Brett Leason rule: review regarding overages. (Anyone drafted becomes FA/once you are passed once you can be claimed/passed twice) : Yes

3. Increasing the $5M + $5M bonus. (Same/Increase to $8M+$8M/adust annually by ratio of where the cap started): Ratio seems most logical

4. Review number of IR spots. [3/4/5]:Three, i.e., status quo. Any more leads to hoarding.

5. Ruling for Player suspended/suspended by team. Passed in favoUr of cap relief. Draft rule for rule book. (Will do over summer): Sure.

6. Copy all existing fantrax rules to rule book, x. (Will do over summer) : Okay.

7. Roster settings for minors (green M's), automatic or not? (Yes/Yes with grace period of 7 days/No) : I forget what this entails exactly, so Abstain

8. Similarly, IR settings and penalties.? (Yes/Yes with grace period of 7 days/No( : I forget what this entails exactly, so Abstain

9. Byfuglien Rule: What happens in a case of mutual contract termination? [i](Lose player to UFA/Keep Player): I think Keep Player but must take up roster spot. Minors is okay but not IR.

I am 70% sure I have a good person (fellow broad) to replace him but have not checked in with said person for a few months due to the British etiquette strictly enforced in my household and lifestyle.

As a side, why don’t we figure out who has the fewest players eligible for the playoffs in each position and use those numbers to have a mini pool?

The salary cap’s upper limit will be frozen for 2020-21 at $81.5 million and remain there until hockey-related revenue returns to $4.8 billion - the amount projected for this 2019-20 season before the pandemic hit.

Once HRR rebounds to $4.8 billion, the upper limit will be calculated using a new formula that relies on the actual HRR from two seasons ago, plus the projected HRR from the immediately prior season.
