Three players top 10 in scoring. Both goals in gold-medal game. What a future!
(all players are available for trade).

He did have a great game, maybe not the best fantasy asset, but seems like he'll be a horse on the backend for Colorado.

We'll see if him and Mete can carry the defense of one Boltsfan's goofball emporium.

Monsieur Cerise appears to have changed Connor Timmins' name to just "Cummins," which I can appreciate.

You still "going for it" this year as you told me? Or was it last year, when you traded me Klingberg for the UFA Shattenkirk? I get confused when you finish 12-14-15th every year. :paulrus:

I actually don't care about this league. I'd destroy you if we started a fresh pool. I just fart around here because I've never played a keeper league before. Thanks for the first overall pick for Vic Meat.

And lastly, I'm genuinely happy for cawbber because his pick is my guy.

Could you send me links to the other leagues where you are dominating? I would love to see your glory manifested.

For the record, I'm not sure why you're angry at me. I think you're a decent GM but kind of an asshole, which is okay. So am I. Also, I like Balki too. Let's be friends.

Perhaps one could do a better job at the ol' drafting-n-development rather than complaining about the perils of the keeper league.

Congratulations to rookie standout, Sami Niku.

Niku was announced as the Eddie Shore Award winner as the AHL's top defenseman.

Analysis: Niku registered an impressive 53 points in 73 games for the Moose to become only the second rookie to ever win this award. Second in the league in scoring, the blueliner also posted an impressive plus-19 rating. In lone appearance with the Jets, the Finn tallied his first NHL goal on his first NHL shot in his first NHL game. The 20-year-old won't be long for the minors if he continues to rack up the accolades.

Reported Sabres signee Lawrence Pilut named Swedish league's top defenseman

The awards keep coming for Lawrence Pilut.

The defenseman, who has reportedly agreed to a contract with the Buffalo Sabres, was named the Swedish Hockey League's best defenseman Monday. He already won the Salming Trophy as the league's best Swedish-born defenseman.

The 22-year-old was an alternate captain for HV71 and blossomed with 38 points in 52 games, leading the league's blue-liners. He had eight goals and 30 assists.

Pilut was named to Sweden's national team for the World Championship, which begins this week. Any contract agreements cannot be announced until the conclusion of the tournament.

I would like to add here the following:

a] Congrats to Jordache Kyrou, recent winner of the Red Tillerson trophy, named as the Most Outstanding Player in the OHL. He now joins the likes of Eric Lindros and Bradley Boyes.

b] my fellows on the Swift Current Broncos, Gawdin, Glenn and Steenberger, Something. Great job on beating Carter Hart and the Cumtips for the WHL’s famous Wheat Board Memorial Cup. Also, a shout to my former player, Axe Heponiemi, whom I traded out of disgust for his future team.

I will now be the GM with a minimum of five leading players in the Mem Cup.

Good luck to your players also.

that's great about your junior hockey players, chicpea. I have many prospects on my team playing for their countries in the IHOP World Championships in Danishmark. I think the ruskie goalie, which chimmy wont leave me alone about, has 3 shutouts.

In what comes as little surprise to the ice hockey congo scenti, The Minnetonka Wilderness have decided to replace De Vahn Dubmix with the gold-medal winning, finnish-elite-league leading goaler from the future with the unlikely name of Kaapo Kahkonen.
