The draft order is wrong then

Indeed it is. My fault for just copying the first post I saw. Will fix tomorrow.

No worries, thanks for clarifying that.

Just so I'm clear as it will likely change who I will draft:

- Overall standings (pool winner) are based on points
- The standings for the lottery draft are based on FP/G

Does the draft order (not a snake draft) for the subsequent rounds follow:
- The overall standings based on points
- The overall standings based on FP/G, or
- The order that gets determined via the lottery draft

Jesus, why didn't you clarify that months ago in the thread where we posted the draft order? I originally posted it without the snake, then changed it because I was told it was snaking.

I specifically remember complaining about the fact it was a snake draft at one point. You guys just change rules whenever you feel like it, it seems.

You did, when I was trying to figure out the draft rules for next year, I read through the lottery thread and you were the first one (only one?) to point it out.

It's creates a bunch of stupid confusion that isn't necessary during the draft which takes long enough as it is.

I don't personally care for length. I just think that picks should be paid for - at the very least with future considerations, like kisses or new towels from The Bay.

I think we proposed that before the draft last year and it didn't go through... I 'm totally for only 5 rounds.

Either that or when we freeze rosters, ensure no one goes over 38 +2 IR during draft? For instance, I cleared my roster and might've used another pick or two if I had it...

But I'm not too bothered either way, waivers/FA is always there.

Did we not do that? I did that, then gave away picks I might have used...

Since it's being posted about in the chat, can the rule about the limiting active flagged players to 2 be clarified so that it is written like the rule was how it was voted on please. I.E. it is relating to active players, and not reserves.

viewtopic.php?f=92&t=38872
2. Limiting active green/black/yellow/blue/etc. flag players to two.

chic picked up Zajac and then dropped him the same day. I think this kind of bullshit should be illegal. Now Zajac is on the WW instead of FA and chic didn't even use him for a game. I think we should make the rule, if you pick up a player, he has to play five games for his NHL club until you can drop him again. Now if someone wanted to use Zajac for the game against Winnipeg, they can't because of that shit.

Does he do it frequently? Does it really interrupt the progress of numerous teams? Are we really going to make a rule that was sparked by Travis Zajac?

I feel like we can count the number of significant waiver claims each year on one hand. Two Jason-Pierre Paul hands, tops.

Hi, guy who was carrying several too many flags on his roster for far too many days while complaining about others breaking this very rule (classic move of a champ!).

How are you doing? I hope very well.

I was a little busy at my job today to respond to your complaints about my very suspicious Waiver Wire actions, but I just wanted to take a moment out of this lovely Tuesday evening to mention the following brief points:

a] Go fuck yourself
b] Suck my disease-ridden tits until your mouth is full of germied, viscous bile and your teeth turn green and disintegrate into tiny particles that crumble onto the shitty rug you bought at The Brick on a three-year-plan and that ants carry away to fortify their homes.
c] You can have Travis Zajax soon!
d] I grabbed Zajax by accident (forgot to delete the claim before bed!).
e] When I make a claim like that, I am hurting myself more than others, as it hurts my WW ranking (did you not think of that? I'm guessing no).
f] See e]
g] See a]
h] Many owners, like myself, are playing extremely close to the cap limit and need to make adjustments on-the-fly when considering IR guys and GP. So, yeah. This is going to happen. Take tonight: I had no idea the severity of Palat's injury as TB was being very secretive of his condition. That considered, I grabbed Josh Bailey last night on WW. Do you want Josh Bailey? I don''t. But it's better than an empty W spot.
i] This will blow your mind: I'm dropping Josh Bailey!!!!!!! Why? Because Palat ended up playing today with no explanation from TB on his injury.
j] So, yeah. That's how I roll as a GM.

I see you've hastily picked up Travis Zajax, and note that your ministrations and supplements to the league for wide-sweeping changes were not, in fact, propelled by brutal self-interest or the dire predicaments of a shitty team.

You've earned the respect of many with your counsel.
