Change: Goalie Steve Mason is rejuvenated and back from injury as of tomorrow's game, for which he will dress. He is available.

Crag's suggestion seems most apt as I have some acting experience on a children's edu-comedy show.

Bad News: Matt Murray (sv %. 909), goaltender for the cup-contending Pittsburgh Penguins, is sidelined again indefinitely - this time with a concussion sustained in practice.
Good News: Casey DeSmith (sv % .926) and Tristan Jarry (sv % .916) - the erstwhile 1a and 1b combo for said Penguins as they charge forward with new scorer Mick Brissard, are both available in a package deal only. The return sought is one starting goaltender.

Re: Trade Block
As of today, April 1, 2018, very late in the season, there are but four players with 42 goals or more. These players are Lex Ovech (45), Eugene Malgin (42), Pat Laineham (43), and Bill Karlsson(42). Needless to say, it is a rarefied air such brethren breathe in the hunt for Maurice's trophy.
Interestingly, among these four, though matched on the stats sheets, there is a great discrepancy in their cap hits, with the former two making $9.5m (and up) and the latter duo bringing the cost of $1m or less.
Adding to this, Ovi and Malkin are UFAs in four and five years respectively; Laine and Karlsson are RFAs.
Yet another gap in the four players are their ages. The UFAs being 32 and 31; the RFAs being 19 and 25.
Laine leads the group in PP goals (19) while Karlsson leads with SH goals (4).
This has been a great dicussion so far, but you may ask: 'Why do I dedicate my Easter Sunday to such talk?' This is great question and the answer shall be revealed below.
Answer: I am in re-build mode now. William Karlsson is on the block.

I will pencil him in. I will pencil him in for $15m/year for 10 years.
Karlsson is looking at a bridge of $4m from what I hear. Who is the better value? It's very hard to say at this point, I agree, cobbler.

Matthews gets more than McJesus?
40 goal scorers don't get bridge deals, Chic.

A recent post on the Dawbr "blog" called 50-point D-men "a rare bird."
I have four of them. Three with excellent contract statuses.
If you're looking.

Getting curious what ovechkin or my 2019 first night fetch.
I’ll trade this year’s first if the player I want is gone, probably... depends who I want.

Re: Trade Block
Draft picks always yield the worst value in this league, except very close to the draft. Future year draft picks even moreso.
