It depends on how true to the story they go with. The only problem I have is that I think they ditched some aspects of the Extremis story line but I do have some hope that maybe they introduce it in this movie, or hopefully briefly mention it. A nano-tech super soldier Serum would be pretty cool to see with today's Special FX & CGI.

“As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon,’ Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.”
The first Transformers and the third instalment, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, were also filmed in Detroit.
In a 2012 interview with Hero Complex, Bay hinted that the film will be part of the official Transformers canon.
“It’s not a reboot, that’s maybe the wrong word,” Bay said. “I don’t want to say reboot because then people will think we’re doing a ‘Spider-Man’ and starting from the beginning. We’re not. We’re taking the story that you’ve seen — the story we’ve told in three movies already — and we’re taking it in a new direction. But we’re leaving those three as the history. It all still counts.”

I have a lot of the Transformers comics from back in the day, I am trying to remember which "canon" this one is from. I fucking hate Michael Bay. Mark fucking Wahlberg in this, talk about taking a giant shit on the movie and ruining the franchise even further.

Sadly, it's true. Bay's ruined it so much that it's not something you can fix. Maybe in 5-10yrs if they don't make another one after this 4th one Bay is going to make which will further butcher the franchise. Someone new would need to take over and go back to the roots. Or if anything, just stop making live action movies for it, the best Transformers movie will be that 80's one where Welles voiced Unicron.
I would rather watch an animated movie of the War Within series, which would be pretty fucking awesome. But no, they never will because Bay makes Hasbro money. At least DC & Marvel still make JLA/Avengers animated movies, they're more true to the comics and not too bad for getting some very good voice actors.

Also, kudos for Youtube for picking a frame of Alice Eve for the preview image.

If I were to give a conservative estimate as to how much sex I'd like to have with Alice Eve, I think it'd be in the ballpark of all of it. All of the sex.
