C'est bon ça, ça me fait penser un peu au pop scandinave, des belles melodies sombres.

Just read Danger Mouse produced his latest album "Face your Fear", gonna give it a listen.

Not a fan of JTs work past his second solo album, but this song is cool. Like the energy and the videoclip looks great.

Couldn’t find a free stream, but here is a link to the mubi page if you want to look it up:

That looks quite interesting, just read a bit about it, will check it out. That streaming site looks great too, is it worth it?

Just finished Eugeniusz Rudnik's doc, seems like an ode to tape recording, found sound and sample manipulation. There's a new appreciation for older gear and found sound in music because it's much less predictable than conventional instruments, digital recording or synths. The visuals were cool too.

Jon Hopkins often mixes electroacoustic with Philip Glass-like compositions or dance music.

Tom Misch is great mens, mixes modern jazz with hip hop, neo-soul and a tiny hint of electronica at times. At 22, definitely one of the most brilliant young musicians.

I didn't know the band before listening to their latest album. I've been on a shoegaze/dream pop binge the past year or so. Heard their stuff on Spotify, seems like they went a bit poppier on the last album. But that Arizona song really stood out for me, really captures the cruising on the highway vibe.

I was eh on that Weezer cover of Africa but after about 40 listens, I love it. Drums are great like always with Weezer. Seeing them live in Jones Beach July 18th. I hope they cover Pumped Up Kicks there too.

I don't listen to Aldean but he did this cover after Vegas shooting on SNL. Love it.

Not feeling the distorted guitar on the Africa cover, too overpowering on the whole mix. And Weezer has always been a great reference for drums in the whole alternative pop rock thing, I'd say Paramore has them beat in that regard though. War on Drugs are coming to Montreal's jazz fest this summer in july, tempted to go, but I kinda find Adam's soloing annoying.
