We’re hosting 30 people. Was planned for Sunday which was all good. Forcast has rain for sunday, so wife reached out to everybody to see if they would be available on saturday too if forcast is better. All seem to be available. If saturday, we’d need friday night to set up. Not even contemplating letting the wife do that by herself while I drink beer at Nots. Not sure yet, if it stays on sunday, I’ll be fine.

Sorry for the change of plans, Not.

You're having 30 people over who did not have any plans for Saturday two days before? Like, you didn't poll every person you've ever met in your life and happened to find 30 with no plans on Saturday, this entire list of 30 people, each and every one of them, just didn't have plans for the weekend?

It’s a family bbq we hold each year on the same weekend. We rotate houses, this year is mine. I had sent out invites for sunday. When saw rain forecasts, I asked if people were available monday just in case. Some weren’t. My wife then asked about saturday. So far everybody is, bit still missing a few replies to which I’ll follow up. These aren’t 30 single people. They are mostly family units, so it’s more like 6-7 units being available. Two said they had plans (like restaurant reservations) but could easily change.

I go to Not’s most years. Why would I be making up excuses not to attend?

You people are despicable!
