Artie, with what you know and what you've surmised, if Bergevin truly believed Sly was the man for the job, but knew he'd be crucified on the airwaves/print etc. for the status quo , would he make a move ?

Re: General Hockey Shit
Yes I do.
Whether BS, window-dressing or paranoid concern, Molson has 5-7 points that he wants to address
Development of the younger talent is key.
I think we may see martin Lapointe with a more prominent role with the Rockets.
I can see Larry Carriere being phased out.
My take is that Syl has been a good soldier and done what has been asked of him. Prep those he has to play with the big club. That may change as they start to stock pile more assets than they may need. Skill and player development may be broader based at this point.

There's a carpool parking lot just off the 401 there. That's how you do it in the country, we don't need indoor transit infrastructure to fight in like you city Nancies.

Rich people eating on fancy tables. I eat in front of the grocery register as soon as I have paid, so I have more free time to do what I really love. I don't know how you guys do, being slaves to things you own like chairs and tables.

I only use the dining room table if LW is over, or other friends, or my parents or something.
Most days I'm just watching TV alone when i eat dinner, and so just use the coffee table and watch TV.

I would guess that in the last 5 years, we've had about 12 different dining room tables. We put one in, D decides it's not right, sells it, tries another We have a narrow galley kitchen, so if anyone is around, we sit in the dining room, it's the central room in the house. When it's just us at home, we end up eating in front of the tv.

I don't see trading down. I think they need an exceptional player, they have lots of good, but no great, specifically up front. I say make your list, maybe don't draft an rd, [maybe] but go for whoever you think can be a star. Then if you can fill a positional need later in the round, use the extra 2nd's to move up. He says, thinking he's realistic but watches at Not's place rather than working for a team.
