I have gotten no small amount of joy watching Islanders nation implode following the Tavares signing. It is even more delicious because of how adamant they were that JT would never sign here.

They had 6 years of well below market rate for a truly elite player. They should be mad at their management for pissing away an opportunity to take advantage of that.
