Purity cookies of the east coast

Post #1 by Ricard_Persson » Tue Jun 05, 2018 9:41 am

Sittin’ in a Halifax Walmart and I see this section of cookies in packages that look to be designed in 1981. Purity cookies. Made in Newfoundland. They must not be able to ship them to Ontario as the paper packaging may disintegrate. I’ve never seen them before.

Bought a box. Delightfully light. Fresh. Family made cookies.

Tell me more about the Purity empire. It seems Newfie Jesus doesn’t have a twitter account again so here I am looking for info.

And remember, always buy local.

They ship, but the shipping is pretty expensive:

I wasn't so much looking to buy them in Ontario, mostly just hear the tales from the locals on how the Purity paper bag treats carved out their childhood and regale in their tales of local life.

Like siriusly, I even drove past king of donair and thought of the many times I heard of it on the old broads site. Poor uncle buck is most certainly dead now from a cardiovascular disease related to the donair sauce.

The lower deck, your father's moustache. Like really these were real places not just tales spun by a bunch of online clowns from the maritime area.

Think I'm gonna track down Leaf Lander in cape Breton and drop off a miost chohcoaet caek.
